Barb’s Shih Tzus Purchasing Information My puppies reach adult weights between 5-8 lb. All puppies are sold with an AKC ‘Limited’ Registration, to approved pet homes only, not to be used for breeding or show. I screen for genetic diseases and have no health problems in my lines. When I started breeding Shih Tzus, I hand selected a few beautiful dogs with impressive pedigrees, great looks, and thick double coats. In April of 2002 I purchased the most gorgeous male puppy to use for stud. He has grown to be the most beautiful Shih Tzu I have ever seen! His name is BamBam. The results have been wonderful… our pups have sweet little doll faces, thick double coats, in good health, and have wonderful dispositions. I health guarantee all my pups in writing, and they also receive a clean bill of health from a Veterinarian, and are issued a Florida State Health Certificate, before I release them to their new homes. I make myself available to my new puppy owners for questions they may have for the life of their new pup, as any good breeder should.
