'OUR STORY' I grew up around breeding dogs. I remember helping my mom deliver puppies in the wee hours of the morning at ten years old. Helping her give puppy shots, and even docking tails when she was breeding poodles. After I was married, my husband and I bred ChowChows for several years. I wanted to return to a toy breed, my favorite. I had a Shih Tzu when I was a kid, and never forgot what a loving, wonderful breed they were with happy little personalities. Today, Shih Tzus are my life, owning a total of nine! All hand sellected with excellent pedigrees. We now have second generation dogs, that I have included in my breeding program as well. My Shih Tzu's health and happiness comes first. They are so spoiled, and justly so. These little dogs are amazing! The unconditional love they are capable of surpasses all other breeds in my book. I give my Shih Tzus kids the best of everything, the food they eat, their health care, and the love they receive. I handle my pups from birth, starting with their delivery. I work with them to get them off to the very best start possible, handling them and loving them from the monent they are born. I believe that paper training them from the time they begin to walk plays an important part in housebreaking. Establishing a difference between their living area, from their potty area right from the start, makes the world of difference. My dogs are screened for genetic diseases. I give a full health guarantee with my pups. I also will help to educate new puppy owners and answer any questions they may have and will do so for the life of the dog. If for any reason the new owners cannot keep their pup, I will do my best to find a new home for the pup. I truly care about my pups and am very sellective of where they go. So many people think a puppy is like a object to entertain there children, or a collectable to place on their mantel, and they are not. They are a new life with feelings and needs, and it's a major commitment you must be ready to take on. There is housebreaking, health needs (such as shots, heartworm prevention, flea protection, ect.), grooming needs, and most of all lots of love and attention. I suggest to anyone considering getting a puppy to do some reading about training puppies, their grooming needs, and more about the breed they are considering. I sell my puppies with a 'limited registration' only, which means the puppy is a purebred AKC pup, but it's offspring cannot be registered. This is a precaution taken to avoid the possibility of my pups ending up in an irresponsible breeder's hands. My pups are placed in loving, responsible 'Pet homes only', with the owners full intention of spaying or neutering the pup at 4-6 months of age. I welcome anyone interested in purchasing one of my babies to come inspect my premises at any time, and meet my ShihTzu and human family. I will try my best to make you feel comfortable with the purchase of your new puppy. I absolutely love what I do, and I take a lot pride in doing it to the best of my ability. |
